Our mama spider, “Vipress,” was found in the wild with an egg sac in an area that was no longer safe for her or her babies. We moved her indoors, where she raised her first set of babies, between snacking on yummy crickets in her new home. She then proceeded to have three more egg sacs in succession, raising each set of babies with care. Once they are old enough and leave the nest, we hand raise them. Feeding 150+ indivudal baby spiders takes time!! But we love it.
